Garnish Island
The island is renowned for its richness of plant form and colour, which change continuously with the seasons. Pathways wind around the landscape, leading to a number of fascinating garden buildings, such as the Grecian temple, the clock tower, the casita, and an original Martello Tower.
The Ewe Experience
The Ewe lies on the N71 road, 3 miles north of Glengarriff. The Ewe is a unique combination of nature and art – and Ireland’s only interactive & interpretive sculpture garden.
Bamboo Park
The unique exotic garden in one of the most attractive areas of Ireland. Situated in the mild climate of Glengarriff in the southwest. Thirty different species of bamboo surrounded by palms and other tropical plants, amidst romantic paths and breathtaking views.
Bantry House and Gardens

Glengarriff woods
A variety of trails are provided in the Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve to suit a range of abilities. You can take a gentle amble along the River Walk or make the steep, but rewarding climb up to Lady Bantry’s Lookout.
Glengarriff Forest Therapy
A forest bathing walk is very different from your regular walk in the woods. Unlike an ecological walk that focuses on education, forest bathing is a more intimate experience, to help us find joy and peace in the moment.
